While personal references need not accompany the application form, three (3) references from individuals who are familiar with the applicant's academic and/or professional experience and personal character are required on personal or business letterhead stationary to complete the file. Additionally, official transcripts from all institutions of higher learning attended by the applicant shall be forwarded to the above-stated address. A non-refundable $75.00 application fee should accompany the application form made payable to VUMC .

The application deadline for the upcoming academic year (commencing in Aug. of each calendar year) is January 1 of the year in which the applicant desires appointment.  Interviews for the upcoming academic year are conducted in March or April of the year to enter, in order to provide all applicants with adequate time to prepare for their continuing education.  If you have questions regarding these matters, please feel free to call (615) 936-4452, fax (615) 343-5234, or contact me at the above-stated address.  The best method for communication is by e-mail.
