Prospective Students
About our Student Interns
Project Opportunity student interns will be asked to meet a variety of challenges, in a real workplace setting on a daily basis. As our student interns rise to meet the challenges of the program, their transferable skill sets and self-confidence grow, which in turn fosters
their sense of independence. This is a key aspect of Project Opportunity. We believe that the transition to independence requires willing participation from both the student intern and their family supports. For this reason we strive to integrate these supports into this period of transition through our Project Opportunity Parent Sessions (POPS). However, in order to ensure that each of our students gets the most out of the program, it is vital that they have already achieved a certain level of self-reliance.
