The Nashville Scene's yearly "Best of Nashville" poll is open for voting.  If you can make it through ALL of the questions (or even skip a couple), #231 just so happens to be Best Non-Profit.  We don't know who you've got in mind, but may we suggest the little 'school to work transition program' that could.

Today marks the first day of our 5th Project Opportunity intern class.  It was an awesome today, they are a great group of young adults, and it looks like this will be another really productive year.

It is that most delicious time of year once again, known as Free Cone Day, and like last year the Ben & Jerry's location at MCJCH will be donating all proceeds collected to Project Opportunity.  We are very excited to be selected once again, and this time we'll be ready with some treats of our own.  We are extremely grateful for the very generous donation from Imagination Branding (www.imaginationbranding.com/) in the form of Project Opportunity pens, post its, and key lights which we will be handing out all day!

We hope to see you in line, enjoying some Project Opportunity swag, and of course a cone of Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

Today we are launching a new portion of the Project Opportunity website, in order to keep everyone up to date on the latest news.  Its hard to believe that its already February and we are only a few months away from the graduation of our 5th class!  Thus far one of this years interns has already been hired and have brought in two new students since then, for those of you counting, thats 9 student interns so far.  We're looking forward to what is down the road for the rest of our interns, and preparing once again to select a class of new interns for the next year!
