Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

The research program of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is in a period of rapid growth. The research program involves an interdisciplinary group of investigators with active collaborations throughout the university.

The research focus involves both T1 and T2 translational research: that is, the transfer of information from the basic laboratory to clinical applications (T1) and the dissemination of research findings into clinical practice (T2). Active research programs focus on the areas of cognitive, developmental, mood, psychotic, and behavioral disorders. A major goal of the division is integration of the research program into routine clinical practice and teaching.
