Welcome to the Vanderbilt Radiology Women's Imaging section. Thank you for your interest in our program. We are currently accepting applications for fellowships that begin July 2014. The Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments (SCARD) has recently withdrawn its original recommendation for uniform interview dates. As a result we are currently reviewing applications on a rolling basis and anticipate interviewing applicants in the fall.
We offer a one year fellowship in Women's Imaging which is divided between mammography and ultrasound. Traditionally, the fellowship has included 6 months of mammography and 6 months of ultrasound.

The six months of breast imaging offers extensive experience in all modalities:
Vanderbilt opened a brand new, state of the art breast center in March 2009 with new expanded space and equipment. There is an onsite dedicated breast MRI magnet and all digital mammography equipment. We provide a unique experience to work closely with the breast surgeons and oncologists in the same clinic to discuss patient care and management with a multidiciplinary approach. For more information, please visit our Breast Center website.
