The Vanderbilt Center for Women's Imaging is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to women's ultrasound with a special emphasis on obstetrics and gynecology. With the most sophisticated imaging equipment available, including 3D sonograms, you'll have a unique experience while receiving the quality care you expect from Vanderbilt.

The Vanderbilt Center for Women's Imaging strives to provide the best quality of care to our patients. Below is a list of our Ultrasound services with information for each procedure.

Vanderbilt Center for Women's Imaging offers the Ultrascreen/Nuchal Translucency screening. This screening is an early detection for Down Syndrome and Trisomy 18/13 defects. The first trimester screening can be performed during 11 weeks 1 day to 13 weeks 6 days.

The first in Nashville, Center for Women's Imaging offers Instant Risk Assesment. IRA allows you to receive your results from your ultrascreen on your visit date. You can obtain an IRA kit either at your doctor's office or by calling us and we will send you one. The kit contains every item you need to obtain your blood, from a finger stick, and send to the lab for testing. On your scheduled ultrascreen date, the sonographer takes the measurements and along with your blood work from the lab, will be able to print out your instant report.

LOCATIONS

The Vanderbilt Center for Women's Imaging is located in the Crystal Terrace building on 3319 West End Avenue at Murphy Road and I-440 intersection. Our facility accommodates patients with easy access and covered parking. For driving directions click HERE.
