Service Training for Environmental Progress

Internship Sponsor Program

STEP now invites community-based environmental organizations to sponsor an intern who will receive technical support from STEP and the Center for Health Services.  This support for selected interns includes use of Vanderbilt facilities and resources, training by Center for Health Services staff, and a moderate stipend.

STEP & You: A Good Match?

Sponsoring organizations, supervisors, and interns that meet these basic criteria generally provide a good match with the STEP program.  If selected, STEP also requires the sponsored organization and intern to adhere to several basic program guidelines throughout the internship period.

A pre-established partnership agreement defines the specific responsibilities of the STEP program and the sponsoring agency.
