Ms. Pinkerman is a clinical nurse practitioner at the adjacent Veterans Affairs Hospital and has been a nurse practitioner for eleven years. She is interested in improving the clinical care of patients and is an active participant in all of the research projects at the VA Hospital. Her research interests include preoperative pulmonary rehab prior to operative procedures and the survival of veterans after lung cancer resection.
Rhonda obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of Alabama Birmingham and her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University obtaining Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification.
