Drs. Douglas Milam and Melissa Kaufman direct the Urodynamics and voiding dysfunction clinic. This includes the evaluation and treatment of neurogenic bladder disease, incontinence, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Innovative treatment approaches for BPH including laser surgery, microwave thermotherapy, and novel drug therapies are actively practiced.
The state-of-the-art videourodynamic laboratory located within the Urologic Surgery Clinic permits accurate evaluation of complex voiding dysfunction problems. Patients are then offered treatments including augmentation cystoplasty, detrusor myectomy, laser sphincterotomy, and investigational modalities through clinical trials.
