Other Conditions

Several other conditions occur which may cause sexual difficulties. The most common of these is condylomata acuminata or penile warts. These lesions are due to a virus that is sexually transmitted. Penile warts are unsightly and have been linked to development of cervical cancer in women. Because of this, we elect to treat any visible lesions. Several options are available including vaporization with the carbon dioxide laser and topical treatment with bichloroacetic acid.
