Prior to joining the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital as Chief Nursing Officer, Avni served as Chief Nursing Officer for nine years at Ohio State University Harding Hospital in Columbus. He has been a Wharton Fellow since 2007 and received his Masters Degree in Nursing from the University of Michigan.
