Advance Practice Nurses (APRN's)

Position Summary	The Nurse Practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary health care team. The NP has a strong foundation in evidenced based practice/education and provides an environment of safe quality care. The NP demonstrates an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical/technical competence, sound clinical judgment, professional communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and is responsible for professional development and competency validation.

Education Requirements	Masters
Job Experience Requirements	Required time in field previous to employment will vary, depending on the position
Licensure Requirements	TN RN Licenses, TN APN License/Certification and Board Certification
