Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's)

Position Summary	The licensed practical nurse supports the registered nurse or licensed physician or dentist, as well as the overall health-care team, in providing patient care. The LPN works in close collaboration with the team to evaluate the patient's plan of care and progress toward goal attainment. All patient-care activities are undertaken with the delegation/supervision of a licensed professional.
Types of Positions Available	LPN's at Vanderbilt are employed primarily in outpatient or procedural areas.
Education Requirements	Graduate of an accredited discipline specific program
Job Experience Requirements	Required time in field previous to employment will vary, depending on the position
Licensure Requirements	Licensed Practical Nurse - TN License
