Position Summary
 
Medical Assistants contribute to the healthcare of patients by assisting with exams and procedures, organizing and managing patient flow, and taking on other responsibilities based on their specific role.
 
Types of Positions Available
 
Medical Assistants work primarily in out-patient areas. 
Education Requirements
 
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program 
Job Experience Requirements
 
Required time in field previous to employment:  0 Months 
Licensure Requirements
 
Holds an active Registered/Certified Medical Assistant Certification.
 
If applicant is hired prior to taking the registration/certification exam, applicant must pass the exam within 90 days of hire.
