'What Nurses Do...' Child Interpretations

In celebration of Nurses' Week 2009,
and in honor of our nurses,
Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt
hosted an Art Exhibit based on the theme of
“What Nurses Do…”
featuring original drawings created by both the Children’s Hospital patients and children of staff.

Here's a sampling of the insightful interpretations through the eyes of a child on "What Nurses Do…”

Take care of patients.
They like to help people.
They like to give hugs.
They like to have fun.
They treat patients who are in need.

Special thanks to the Child Life Services Department at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt for organizing and hosting this special tribute.
