Bryan Venters earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Pennsylvania State University in 2008. He trained as a postdoc with Dr. Frank Pugh, where he studied the genome-wide organization of the eukaryotic transcription machinery. Prior to graduate school, he spent a couple years at Washington University in St. Louis as a research technician. In 2000, Bryan received his BS in Microbiology and Minor in Spanish from Oklahoma State University.
