Description: The Microbial Pathogenesis (MP) Journal Club will provide a forum to review recent and significant journal articles about pathogen interactions with host cells and discuss new findings in this field. Researchers will gain a greater understanding of how different pathogenic bacteria and viruses solve similar problems during their life cycle by mimicking or usurping host machinery during replication.

It outlines a new approach toward developing therapeutics for Influenza infection by targeting the innate immune response.
