Microbes and Defense Academic Society
The members of the Society who share an interest in microbial and immune disease will engage in analyses of microbial diseases confronting people in the United States and throughout the world. The members of the society will collect data for discussion at regularly held meetings and will have the opportunity to interact with faculty who share an interest in the topic selected for discussion.
In some instances, experts from other institutions, public health officials and authors will be asked to share with the members of the society their ideas and experiences related to microbial and immune diseases and their impact on society.
The Society is composed of medical and graduate students and faculty who share an interest in microbial and immune diseases.
