Jonathan Dees, Lead Developer
Jonathan Dees is a Sun Certified Java Programmer proficient in Perl, PHP, JSP, HTML, and JavaScript. Also among his technical skills is a mastery of SQL relational-database management. Mr. Dees joined VUMC in 2001, bringing with him more than 10 years of experience in programming and electronic archiving at Gannett's Tennessean, a newspaper serving 598,000 readers per week. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University and is a member of the HTML Writers Guild.
Jason Coles, Creative Web Developer
Jason Coles has been a Creative Web Developer and Graphic Designer for the Medical Center for a total of 8 years. In that time he has helped create, update and maintain the first three levels of the VUMC Web site.
He has a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Quark Xpress, Adobe GoLive Web design software and various other HTML editing software packages. Jason has been instrumental in the development of the VUMC SiteBuilder Software Application which was developed for the VUMC departments and centers to help aid in the creation of their online Web site presence.
Ryan Huber, Digital Media Specialist
Ryan Huber has been involved with web design and development since 2000. He holds degrees in Art and Biology. Mr. Huber joined the VUMC Web Team in 2006. His areas of technical expertise include (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Actionscript, and Javascript. He is also well acquainted with visual design and UI design, and is proficient in Flash, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
