Our Current Projects

Here are a few:

  • New House Staff Clinical Systems Orientation – Working with Systems Support Services, VMG, and the Graduate Medical Education group to design the clinical systems training new House Staff receive during their orientation period
  • Valve Bundle Education – Consulting with Patient Education and Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute on the development of a patient education program for valve surgery patients that will facilitate successful surgical outcomes
  • Clinical Staff Leader implementation - Evaluating the impact that the Clinical Staff Leader orientation program has had on staff performance in each unit undergoing leadership structure change
  • New Hire Nurse Clinical Systems Orientation – Working with Systems Support Services and Nurse Education and Professional Development to redesign the clinical systems training new hire nurses receive during their orientation period
  • Vanderbilt Leadership Academy - Coordinating and facilitating the second-year iteration of the VLA, a cross-institutional executive leadership development program
  • LMS implementation – Preparing for the July 1st implementation of our new Absorb LMS
  • Train-the-Trainer, Human Performance Technology, LMS Administrator Training and Instructional Evaluation workshops - Developing instructional training courses for distributed educators
