Minimum Volume: 1 g stool
Temperature: Room temperature for 2 hours; refrigerate if transport time is > 2 hours.
Stability: Send to lab immediately
Reasons for Rejection: Formed stool
Days Performed: Sunday - Friday
Times Performed: Once a day
TAT: 1 - 2 days
Significance:
Special Instructions: Specimen should not be formed; appropriate specimen should take the form of the container.
