Tube Type: Light green PST (Lithium Heparin with gel) tube - 4.5 mL; Red top
Specimen: Plasma
Pediatric Requirements: 1 light green top microtainer
Volume: 1 mL plasma
Minimum Volume: 0.3 mL plasma
Temperature: Separate within 1 hour and store/ship @ ambient temperature until delivery.
Stability: < 3 days at 2 - 8 C; 6 months at -20 C
Reasons for Rejection: Hemolysis, improper collection
