Temperature: Must be spun in refrigerated centrifuge and separated.

Reasons for Rejection: Specimen not refrigerated or frozen within 4 hours of collection

TAT: 1 day
Special Instructions: A fasting morning specimen is usually obtained to establish baseline values. If the samples are collected as part of a provocative test, be sure to take care in the timing of the samples.
