Tube Type: Red top (no gel)
Specimen: Serum
Alternate Specimen: Light green top PST (Lithium Heparin with gel)
Pediatric Requirements: 1 red microtainer
Volume: 5 mL
Minimum Volume: 1 red microtainer

Special Instructions: This is a 2nd generation Thyroglobulin (Tg) assay with functional sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL. Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb) may interfere with the Thyroglobulin Assay. Consider alternative TG measurement in the presence of TgAb.
Results obtained with different test methodologies cannot be used interchangeably.
