Stability: Serum must be frozen within 48 hours
Reasons for Rejection: Gross hemolysis

TAT: 48 hours
Special Instructions: Additional testing will be performed given the following results: Anti-dsDNA if smooth pattern, Antibodies to specific ANAs if speckled pattern of > or = 1:160, Antibodies to specific ANAs if "SSA-like" pattern. (Specific ANA Antibodies include: SSA, SSB, ScL 70, SMITH, SM/RNP)
