Temperature: Allow to clot, store refrigerated (2-8C)
Stability: Room temperature (15-30 C): 24 hours; 2-8 C: up to 6 days; Longer than 6 days: remove serum from clot and store at -20 C
Reasons for Rejection: Same assay within 4 days, obvious microbial contamination
Days Performed: Monday - Friday
Times Performed: Morning and afternoon
TAT: 2 hours to 2.5 days
