DescriptionSelections of drawings of pellagra pattients by John Carroll, who was assigned to Dr. Joseph Goldberger's pellagra study, which sponsored by the U.S. Department of Public Health. Mr. Carroll produced forty-one drawings of patients in pellagra hospitals in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Milledgeville, Georgia.
