As of August 4, 2003, we no longer use letter grades to signify clinical clerkship performance. The guidelines are that up to 25% of the class will receive "honors" designation.

The expected and average grade on this clerkship will be "high pass."

You will be graded on clinical and testing performance as follows:

70% clinical *
15% shelf exam
15% oral exam

* Your clinical grade is comprised of :

60 % general surgery block
20% subspecialty #1
20% subspecialty #2

Refer to the included sample evaluation used for evaluating clinical performance.
