Dr. Eichholz’s clinical interests include all aspects of neurological surgery, with a focus on the application of minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of degenerative spine diseases such as lumbar or cervical stenosis and disc herniations, as well as minimally invasive interbody fusion and instrumentation.

Education:

Dr. Eichholz completed his undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Following graduate study in Anatomy and Neurobiology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, he completed his medical degree there with Distinction in Research.

Postgraduate Training:

Dr. Eichholz completed his Residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. He then completed a Fellowship in the Minimally Invasive and Complex Spinal Surgery in the Section of Neurosurgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, IL.
