Dr. Neimat’s clinical interests include all aspects of neurological surgery, with emphasis on neural stimulation for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, the surgical treatment of epilepsy, novel surgical therapies for mental disease, and the multi-modality treatment of trigeminal neuralgia.

Education:

Dr. Neimat performed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. At Duke University in Durham, NC he completed both the Master of Science in Neurobiology and his medical degree.

Postgraduate Training:

Dr. Neimat completed his Internship in General Surgery and his Residency in Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA . Dr. Neimat completed a Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada.
