Operation: Patients are seen Monday through Friday in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, located on the first floor courtyard section of The Vanderbilt Clinic.
Making an
Appointment: You can make an appointment to see one of
our surgeons by calling (615) 322-2377 weekdays from 8:00
a.m. until 4:00 p.m. E-mail inquiries for appointments are
also welcome at arnold.albert@vanderbilt.edu.
Free valet parking is available at the entrance to The Vanderbilt Clinic. We encourage you to use this service.
If you require a wheelchair, you may be dropped off at the entrance to The Vanderbilt Clinic and we will provide wheelchair assistance to the clinic.
What to Bring: Please
bring your insurance card(s) (medical and dental), a list of
current medications, and any other relevant information
about your condition on the date of your visit. If you have
had x-rays, tests or biopsies which are relevant to this
visit, please bring this information.
Doctor Referral: Many health insurance plans require referral authorization from your primary care doctor before you can see a specialist. Please coordinate your referral with your primary care physician well in advance of your appointment. If you are not sure whether you need a referral or authorization to see our surgeons, please call the Member Services number on your insurance card. Your physician may fax your referral to us at 615-343-3747.
Payment for
Services: In accordance with our contract with your
insurance company, co-payment or co-insurance will be
collected on the date of service according to your insurance
plan. If your insurance carrier determines that benefits
will not be provided for a particular service, we
respectfully request payment at the time of service. Our
registration staff can provide you with an estimate of
anticipated charges. We look forward to participating in
your care.
Emergencies: Our surgeons are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to manage emergencies .
