Vanderbilt University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (CME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Vanderbilt University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 5.25 Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. One credit hour may be claimed for each hour of participation.

Upon completion of this program, the attendee should be able to describe and discuss managing recent advances in a variety of general, thoracic, and pediatric surgical problems ranging from oncology and trauma through congenital and developmental disorders.
