AND ENDOCRINE SURGERY Ana M. Grau., M.D.
Education Dr. Grau completed her M.D. degree with Maximum Distinction at Universidad Catolica de Chile, Santiago, Chile, in 1990. Postdoctoral Training Following four years of resident training in General Surgery at Universidad Catolica de Chile, Dr. Grau began a second residency in General Surgery at the University of Arizona, Tucson Hospitals and completed that in 1999. During that time she also trained as a research fellow in Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. After completing general surgical residency at the University of Arizona, she then completed a two-year fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Research: . Dr. Grau's research interests include basic and translational cancer studies with emphasis on the role of Transforming Growth Factor beta and Nuclear Factor kappa B in gastrointestinal and breast malignancies.
