Dr. Miller's interests include Trauma Education for surgical fellows, residents, and medical students. His specialty and area of expertise is in the management and reconstruction of complex abdominal wall hernias.

Dr. May is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgical Critical Care. His special interests are in surgical infection and he maintains research projects in surgical infection, acute lung injury and ischemia / reperfusion injury.
Dr. Morris started the Division of Trauma at Vanderbilt in 1984. He is active in regional and national Trauma societies. His research spans from genetics to rehabilitation.
