My father was attached to Base Hospital 47 in Beaune as an ambulance driver. I have several pieces of memorabilia from the Hospital's assignment in Beaune which I can scan and send you if you're interested.

Probably an interior shot of US AEF Base Hospital 47 in Beaune, France. The hospital opened in the fall of 1918 until January of 1919. The decorations suggest this might be December of 1918. The photographer is unknown, but appears to have some connection with Vanderbilt University. Previously unpublished scan from a small collection of glass-plate negatives. Browse related items
