Photographic portrait of Barney S. Graham. Dr. Barney Graham obtained his M.D. degree in 1979 at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where he was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine in 1986. In 1991 he obtained his Ph.D, also at Vanderbilt, and in 1992 was promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine with a joint appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology.
