Tom Lloyd serves as the Director of Consulting Operations for the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health’s Innovation Center.
In this role he leads programs that help fulfill the Center’s mission of facilitating the transformation of healthcare delivery through the appropriate and effective use of information technology.

Tom has spent the last ten years working within the consulting industry as an entrepreneur and member of Cap Gemini. His focus is infusing collaborative tools into decision making processes to accelerate the rate-of-return from investments made on transformational initiatives. Tom’s experience includes initiatives focused on business strategy, new product development, technology implementations, and business process re-engineering. He has worked with multiple industries including Consumer Products, Distribution, Entertainment, Government, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Retail, Telecommunications, and Utilities in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Before joining the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health, Tom worked as an entrepreneur and a Senior Manager with Cap Gemini’s Accelerated Solutions Environment [http://www.us.capgemini.com/ase]. Before becoming a consultant, he was a client of MG Taylor Corporation [www.mgtaylor.com] and witnessed first hand the organizational value created when collaborative tools were applied to complex issues at the Arnold Engineer Development Center.

Tom holds a B.S. with Honors in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida.
