Markle Foundation’s Health Program


Melissa Goldstein is a Director of the Markle Foundation's Health Program, where she manages the Policy Subcommittee of Connecting for Health.  The goal of the Subcommittee is to develop a policy framework that enables information sharing to happen for high quality patient care, while protecting the privacy and security of personal health information.  Prior to this position, Ms. Goldstein was a senior litigation associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom LLP in Washington, D.C. and a domestic policy advisor to Vice President Al Gore, where she worked on a broad range of domestic policy issues, including health care, bioethics, trade, veterans' affairs, transportation, energy, labor, and housing.
