ROBERT Q. WILSON 1661 International Place Drive, Ste . 300 Mr. Wilson is a partner in The Bogatin Law Firm, PLC where he practices in the firm’s health care practice group. He practices as a health law generalist handling business and regulatory matters and frequently focuses on matters involving health information & technology (including privacy/security compliance and technology acquisitions) and clinical research operations & contracting. Mr. Wilson represents a variety of clients, including an operating regional health information organization; a national health information technology and services company; a national clinical research network; various health care providers in sponsored clinical research activities and contracts; numerous specialty and primary care group practices in day to day business matters and HIPAA privacy and security compliance; health care and non-health care clients in licensing agreements, intellectual property issues, and U.S. trademark applications; and a variety of other health care practitioners, organizations, and vendors. He is a frequent author and presenter on health legal issues. Recently, he was a contributing author to The Quest For Interoperable Electronic Health Records: A Guide to Legal Issues in Establishing Health Information Networks, Members Briefing, American Health Lawyers Association (July 2005) and the Health Information and Technology Practice Guide, 2nd Ed., American Health Lawyers Association (2004). Mr. Wilson earned his law degree with a Certificate in Health Law Studies from Saint Louis University School of Law and his B.A. in Biology from Rollins College. He is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association (Vice Chair: Health Information & Technology Practice Group; Member: Teaching Hospitals & Academic Medical Centers Practice Group), the American Bar Association (Health Law and Science & Technology Law Sections), and the State Bar Associations of Tennessee (Executive Council: Health Law Section) and Missouri.
