An experienced healthcare strategist, Chelle Woolley has served in many of the industry’s most innovative and leading organizations promoting the use of health information technology for improving the way care is delivered in this country.  Chelle is currently the principal consultant for Woolley & Associates, an independent consulting organization focused on building company image, branding and messaging.  Ms. Woolley creates effective positioning that enables an organization to develop competitive strategy and a message platform in support of that position, thus influencing business profitability.

Prior to establishing her consulting company, Ms. Woolley was the Senior Vice President and Communications Officer for RxHub, the nationwide electronic prescription drug information exchange.  Ms. Woolley has more than twenty years of leadership/management experience in the health care industry.  Chelle co-founded and served as Senior Vice President of ICAN, inc, a internet web site focused on providing information related to infectious disease and infection control topics.   Ms. Woolley was responsible for developing corporate strategy resulting in $5 million in venture financing and managing all operational aspects of the Company including sales, marketing, account management, client services and corporate communications.  Ms. Woolley was also a Vice President and co-founder of Abaton.com, developer of web-based physician connectivity services and applications—responsible for sales, marketing and positioning.  Prior to these start-up enterprises, Ms Woolley spent over 13 years in leadership positions at United HealthCare Corporation. 

Ms. Woolley received a Masters of Science and Masters of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health.  She was an Assistant Professor at Towson State University of Maryland in the Health Sciences Division and continues to present and educate at national health care conferences.
