Business Manager

Manages business office operations, financial, and personnel administration. She supervises the administrative staff, develops the policies and procedures and manages overall use of the Innovation Center.

Peter Durand
Assistant Director

Architects and facilitates collaborative DesignShops and large-scale events focused upon systems engineering, strategy planning and user-centered design.

Kelly Adams
Production Manager

Oversees the creation and production of visual materials including websites, marketing materials, signage, and business office materials such as letterhead, presentations, and displays. She is also responsible for the design, standards and delivery of webjournals and graphic elements for DesignShops.

Elizabeth Calhoun Swarr, MHA
Senior Consultant

Leads the Process Facilitation team and provides management oversight for large-scale collaborative DesignShops and grants. She facilitates the development of client engagements, tool creation and deployment.

Shannon Smith
Administrative Assistant

Provides administrative support as the first point of contact and directs inquiries to the appropriate staff member.
She coordinates meeting and DesignShop logistics,
maintains supply inventory and provides general administrative support to Business Manager.

Facilitation Team

This team guides the overall DesignShop process, and serves as project manager for conferences and consulting projects. They coordinate the project management development and direct client engagements.
