Our Team serves the needs of families with inherited bleeding or clotting disorders. We provide diagnostic testing, counseling, and treatments. Our Factor Pharmacy provides a full spectrum of clotting factors, ancillary supplies, and other pharmaceuticals.

How do I make an appointment?
You may call 615-936-1765 or our toll-free number at 1-866-DR BLOOD. Our assistant will ask for referral information before booking your appointment. In some cases, we will need information such as laboratory results from your primary care provider.
How soon can I be seen?
Usually we can see you or your family member within 1-2 weeks, schedule permitting. More urgent appointments require coordination between our doctors and your providers.
What information do you need from my doctor?
We will need basic information such as diagnosis or reason for referral, urgency of the referral, bleeding or clotting history, physical exam findings, imaging studies (if done), and key laboratory tests.
Do you see adults and children?
VHTC sees both children and adult patients.
What will a clinic visit cost me?
With prior approval by your PCP/MCO or private insurance, your visit should require little or no out-of-pocket expenses. Our team members will assist you in this process. Parking is free; tickets will be validated when you leave the Clinic..
How do I find your Clinic?
VHTC is located in Suite A, on the 5th floor of Medical Center East at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center complex in Nashville, Tennessee. We have an online map and written instructions that you can print or download to your computer.
