Microtubules drive organelle and molecular transport within a cell, to a large extent defining organization of various cell types. The microtubule network is multifunctional due to the molecular and spatial diversity of microtubule populations within a cell. In the Kaverina Lab, we study properties and functions of specific microtubule subsets.
