Microtubules drive organelle and molecular transport within a cell, to a large extent defining organization of various cell types. Microtubule network is multifuctional due to molecular and spatial diversity of microtubule population within a cell. In Kaverina Lab at Vanderbilt, we study properties and functions of specific microtubule subsets.
