    Katherine Swartz, Ph.D., researches health policy issues facing the United States and other OECD countries with aging populations, as well as implementation issues related to the 2010 Affordable Care Act (ACA), including how to reduce coverage gaps for low-income individuals. Prof. Swartz is a member of the Institute of Medicine, former President of the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management, and served as the Director of the Robert Wood Johnson Scholars in Health Policy Research Program at Harvard University for over a decade.
