VPRAD - Level 1 - Tour - Gamse Lab
The goal of the zebrafish facility tour is to provide participants with an experiential understanding of how an animal facility operates, how animals subjects are utilized and cared for in the facility. Over the years, many VPRAD participants have stated that they’d never been inside an animal facility and didn’t have a capacity to understand that world or those charges when they appeared in the ledger, for example. Participants should gain a context for understanding the sessions from Module 1 on animal care and also the experience of seeing how compliance is applied in the zebrafish facility. Each Level 1 participant in VPRAD must complete at least four experiential tours.
Participants, please meet outside the Biological Sciences department offices on the ground floor of MRBIII 10 minutes before the start time of the tour.
From there we will walk to the Stevenson Center and from there go down to the lab.
Dr. Gamse will meet us there.
Only individuals registered for this tour may attend.
to learn more or register for a training session.
