Hearing Study for Healthy Adults with Normal Hearing

Researchers at Vanderbilt are conducting a study to investigate inner ear function in different age groups. Healthy adults between ages 35-55 or 65 and older with normal hearing are needed to participate.
The study will involve a short hearing test measuring behavioral responses and then some tests that do not require subject responses. Participants must be willing and able to sit still and quiet during testing. The option to watch a subtitled movie during testing will be offered to facilitate sitting quietly.
One visit of 90 minutes to two hours is needed. Compensation will be provided at a rate of $10 per hour.
If you are interested in participating, please contact us by e-mail at or by calling (615) 936-6920.
