"Communicating about Unexpected Outcomes" course to be April 19
"The How and When of Communicating about Unexpected Outcomes and Errors" will be the topic of a course to be held Friday, April 19. The event is conducted by the Center for Patient and Professional Advocacy, 2135 Blakemore Ave.
Faculty for the course are James Pichert, Ph.D., professor of Medical Education and Administration, and Ilene Moore, M.D., J.D., assistant professor of Medical Education and Administration.
Organizers say that Vanderbilt medical/nursing leaders are encouraged to attend the course, and Vanderbilt Risk Prevention will help Vanderbilt attendees with tuition fees.
