Annual MLK lecture to feature Yale Law speaker James Forman, Monday, Jan. 19
Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and School of Medicine, in conjunction with the 2015 Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Series, are proud to present James Forman Jr., J.D., on Jan. 19.
Forman is clinical professor of law and supervising attorney at Yale Law School. He is the son of civil rights pioneer James Forman Sr., who served as the executive secretary of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) beginning in 1961. His presentation is titled "The Other America."
The lecture will take place at noon in Light Hall 208 and is open to the public.
