Workshop for basic scientists on health and avoiding burnout to be tomorrow
Charlene Dewey, M.D., associate professor of Medical Education and Administration, is offering a free two-hour workshop from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, for basic scientists. The event, to be in 412 Light Hall, is sponsored by the Center for Professional Health and the Faculty Physician Wellness Committee.
The presentation has two sessions, "The Scientist: Balancing Health and Science," and "Addressing Burnout, Impairment and Developing Your Emotional Intelligence." The content is geared to basic scientists with a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D.
