REDCap day to be Monday, May 2



The first ever Vanderbilt REDCap Day, a celebration for all members of the Vanderbilt and Meharry Medical College communities who use the web application to collect and manage their research data, will be held on Monday, May 2.

The agenda, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will offer new and experienced users presentations on interesting use cases, what’s new and what’s next with Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap), and keynote presentations by key REDCap developers, administrators and users.

Speakers will include REDCap developer Paul Harris, Ph.D., director of the Office of Research Informatics, Kevin Johnson, M.D., chair of the Department of Biomedical Informatics, and Elisabeth Dykens, Ph.D., director of the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development.

Onsite registration is closed, but the events can be viewed via a live stream that can be accessed at https://starbrite.vanderbilt.edu/rocket/index.php?doc_id=13147. Viewers will be asked to log in with their VUNet IDs.
